Koo, Kyungmo (B.S., Astrophysics, 2005)

I am a graduate student at the Astronautics and Space Technology Division of the University of Southern California (USC).

I am also a current member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Our program is one of few pure-space-focused engineering programs in the U.S., which offer M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in astronautical engineering. My major at the University of Minnesota has significantly contributed to my career in that I gained experience and techniques from my undergraduate study to deal with scientific problems with limited resources. At USC, I am enjoying courses such as spacecraft system design, space environment and spacecraft Interactions, and spacecraft propulsion. I am interested in doing innovative research in astronautics and space technology. I miss my undergraduate life at the University of Minnesota.
