Kyungmo Koo (B.S., Astrophysics, 2005)

I am a graduate student at the Astronautics and Space Technology Division of the University of Southern California (USC).

I am also a current member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Our program is one of few pure-space-focused engineering programs in the U.S., which offer M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in astronautical engineering. My major at the University of Minnesota has signifi cantly contributed to my career in that I gained experience and techniques from my undergraduate study to deal with scientific problems with limited resources. At USC, I am enjoying courses such as spacecraft system design, space environment and spacecraft Interactions, and spacecraft propulsion. I am interested in doing innovative research in astronautics and space technology. I miss my undergraduate life at the University of Minnesota.
