Glen Dahlbacka (Ph.D. 1968 Astrophysics)

Semi retired, married, 3 children and 4 grandchildren.

After graduation I went to work at the University of California National Laboratory. I currently am an Associate Scientist at the Lawrence Berkley National Laboratory.
I am also working in renewable energy and on board of a West African start-up in wind energy and also on board of Oakland Chabot Space and Science Center.

Some favorite memories from school: Building my thesis gamma ray telescope and traveling to Australia for the launch, being driven from building by pepper-gas during anti-war demonstrations in '67-'68, and growing icicle mustaches walking to work in the winter.

Ney's Astrophysics, Kellog's Plasma Physics, and Halley's Quantum Mechanics were my favorite courses.
