Eric Kamp

B.S. Physics, Professional Emphasis

Eric has conducted research studying spin injection in ferromagnetic semiconductor hetero structures, He also worked as a Teaching Assistant. He has been an active member of the Society of Physics Students. Eric will graduate with minors in Mathematics and Astrophysics in addition to his Physics degree.

After graduation Eric will attend graduate school on a Fellowship at Penn State University, pursuing a Ph.D. in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics.

As an undergraduate, Eric conducted research under Professor Paul Crowell studying spin injection in ferromagnetic semiconductor hetero structures, partially funded by an Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) grant. He also worked as a Teaching Assistant for Introductory Physics courses. He has been an active member of the Society of Physics Students, reaching out to lower-division students to engage them in physics research.

Eric will graduate with minors in Mathematics and Astrophysics in addition to his Physics degree. After graduation Eric will attend graduate school on a Fellowship at Penn State University, pursuing a Ph.D. in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics.
