RET Program Now Underway

                                                       

Three local high school teachers arrived Monday, June 26th for the 2006 Research Experience for Teachers program.

RET is an outreach program sponsored by the National Science Foundation and the University of Minnesota designed to provide hands on research experience for high school teachers. David Parents of Irondale High School is working on physics education problems with Professor Ken Heller. Sarah Horns of Harding High School in St. Paul is working on elementary particle physics problems with Professor Daniel Cronin-Hennesy. David Brown of Prior Lake High School is working with on problems in biological physics with Vincent Noireaux. There is one teacher, Amy Hendrickson who is working at the physics facility at Soudan.
