Physics welcomes new students

The School of Physics and Astronomy will welcome 17 new graduate students next week. Orientation for the 11 domestic and six international students will begin August 21st.

Department Head, Allen Goldman explained that this year's graduate class is smaller to help balance the large classes that the School has had the past several years. Last year's class was the largest in recent memory with 35 total students. The School is also welcoming back about 68 upper division undergraduate Physics majors.
