Cushman appointed to HEPAP

Prisca Cushman

Professor Prisca Cushman of the School of Physics and Astronomy was recently appointed to the High Energy Physics Advisory panel. The appointment is for a three year term, beginning in January 2007.

The High Energy Physics Advisory Panel provides advice to both the
Department of Energy and the National Science Foundation about the
national high energy physics program. This encompasses theoretical,
experimental efforts as well as accelerator research and development.
The panel reviews current projects as well provides long range planning
strategies and funding recommendations. The twenty member panel is made
up of high energy physicists from national and international academic
and research institutions.
