Donald (Mac) McIntyre died on Sunday, April 29, 2007. He has battled cancer for the last few years. Mac headed the Machine Shop during the 1970's and 1980's shaping it to become a world-class shop.

"Mac was a great manager, machinist and friend to the Physics Department," said Roberta Eich, Executive Assistant. At this time memorial services are not planned, but may be planned for June.
