Horst L. Stormer to deliver Van Vleck Lecture

                                                       

Nobel Laureate, Horst L. Stormer will deliver the 2002 Van Vleck Public Lecture at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, April 4, 2002

Horst L. Stormer, Professor of Physics and Applied Physics,
Columbia University and Adjunct Physics Director & Bell Laboratories. 1998 Nobel Prize Laureate in Physics "for discovery of a new form of quantum fluid with fractionally charged excitations."

Public Lecture:
"Fractional Charges and Other Tale from Flatland."
4:00 p.m., Thursday, April 4, 2002 in the
Van Vleck Lecture Hall, Room 150, Tate Lab of Physics.
