Larkin wins Onsager Prize

                                                       

Anatoly Larkin, Professor of Physics at the University of Minnesota has been awarded the 2002 Lars Onsager Prize by the American Physical Society.

Anatoly Larkin, Professor of Physics at the University of Minnesota has been awarded the 2002 Lars Onsager Prize by the American Physical Society. Prof. Larkin was awarded the prize for "elucidating roles of fluctuations and randomness in collective phenomena, including critical behavior of uniaxial ferroelectrics, dependence of critical exponents in four dimensions on symmetry and how impurity pinning of vortices in superconductors destroys lattice order and controls critical currents."
