Professor Hans Courant, veteran of the Manhattan Project, was featured in the New York Times, "Voices of the Manhattan Project"
Professor Courant participated in the "Doctor Atomic Symposium" at the City University of New York, where the recording was made. Professor Courant worked on the Manhattan Project from 1942 - 1945 at Los Alamos as a Special Engineer. He witnessed the Trinity Test on July 16, 1945 from a distance of 10,000 yards away.
