The annual Physics Open House will be held on Tuesday, November 19th.
The Open House is a chance for undergraduates to get to know about the physics major and physics research. The schedule is as follows:
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Literature and schedules will be available near Room 150. Students will have a chance to view posters on research programs in the physics department, demonstrations, videos and more.
11:15 - 1:00
There will be a lunch and discussion in Room 157 featuring three University of Minnesota physics graduates who will discuss their career paths and
what was important to getting the jobs they wanted.
This will be followed by an opportunity to tour the research and teaching labs. Tours will meet right in front of Room 150 at the time listed on the sign-up sheet.
