Open Positions

This positions main responsibility is installation and maintenance of the electronics during the construction of a neutrino detector at the Ash River NOvA Laboratory in Ash River, MN. We will be receiving ~12,000 modules (extruded PVC) that need to be readout by the custom electronics. This will be a 10 hour/4 day work week. For the initial few months this will be a day shift position but one foreman will be moved to the afternoon shift after their training period. These positions will last 2 to 3 years. More »

STUDENT JOB BUILDING THE NEXT LARGE NEUTRINO DETECTOR - NOvA

The University of Minnesota experimental HEP group has an immediate need for one or more postdoctoral Research Associates in our program of neutrino physics. Our group is constructing and will operate the NOvA Far Detector Laboratory in Ash River, MN, and also has major roles in the design, fabrication and installation of the detector modules. Keck-Array experiments have the best-published results to date on E-modes and the best limits on B-modes.
