Research Associate in High Energy Physics Experiment

The University of Minnesota experimental HEP group has an immediate need for one or more postdoctoral Research Associates in our program of neutrino physics. Our group is constructing and will operate the NOvA Far Detector Laboratory in Ash River, MN, and also has major roles in the design, fabrication and installation of the detector modules. The NOvA detector will be installed at the Ash River laboratory in 2013 with data taking commencing as the detector is installed. More »

Research Associate Experimental CMB Polarization with the Keck-Array

The University of Minnesota School of Physics and Astronomy has an opening for a research associate to work on the Keck-Array a cosmic microwave background polarization experiment located at the South Pole. Keck-Array experiments have the best-published results to date on E-modes and the best limits on B-modes. Keck Array promises further substantial increase in sensitivity and the possibility of detecting the long-sought B-modes from inflation. More »
