Relativity, Cosmology, and the Universe

In this course, we will explore the evolution of the Universe from the beginning to the present day, and will cover the standard theory and observations as well as the latest developments in cosmology. Specific topics include: the global geometry and dynamics, inflation, baryogenesis, big bang nucleosynthesis, cosmic microwave background radiation, gravitational instability and structure formation. The course is intended for graduates and upper-level astronomy and physics undergraduates.
