Nuclear Physics Seminar in Tate 301-20
Speaker: Jackson Olsen, University of Minnesota
Subject: Analysis of Recent Supernova Models Using SN 1987A Neutrino Data

In 1987, the first and so far only neutrinos observed from a core-collapse supernova were detected from SN 1987A. Since then, significant advances have been made in the modeling of supernova neutrino emission. In this talk, I will discuss some features of four recent supernova models, then present the results of an analysis of the models using neutrino data from SN 1987A.
