Current research

I study large amplitude whistler mode waves in the Earth's
upper atmosphere, magnetosphere and in the solar wind with burst waveform data from
sounding rockets and the two STEREO spacecraft. These waves can interact with
electrons in a highly nonlinear fashion and may have a significant influence on
local plasma dynamics.
