Current Research

Our group is exploring new analysis methods for very high-energy (VHE) data collected with the gamma-ray array, VERITAS. The current analysis methods discard much of the data that could carry gamma-ray signals, effectively using only a fraction of the array’s cameras. We are determining whether this lost data could carry useful signals for science and how they may be recovered using the Zooniverse framework to create a new citizen science project.
