I worked for 35 years in the Particle Physics Department at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in England, finishing up as UK spokesperson for the MINOS long-baseline neutrino oscillation experiment and leader of the local MINOS group. Previously I had worked on the Soudan 2 experiment in the Soudan mine since the early 1980s. So, on reaching the compulsory retirement age of 60 at RAL, I came to Minnesota to continue my association with the HEP group here and I am much enjoying the experience of living and working in the USA.

Research Areas
Particle Physics research, particularly the MINOS long baseline neutrino oscillation experiment and the Nova electron neutrino appearance experiment.

Education
