I currently work for the Observational Cosmology group here at the U, working on a Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) polarization anisotropy experiment called EBEX.
EBEX, which just had a test flight in June '09, is a balloon-borne experiment designed to measure the B-mode signal of polarization anisotropy which would be evidence of primodial gravitational waves after the Big Bang. This would, in itself, be evidence of an epoch of inflation, a period predicted to have existed.
In particular, I work on the cryogenic receiver of EBEX which houses the TES bolometric detector arrays, cold optics, and rotating half-wave plate assembly.
