Homework No. Three
posted 31-Jan-2018 at 8:47AM by James Kakalios

Your homework assignment is listed below. The chapters refer to the textbook by Tipler and Mosca and the problems are found at the end of each chapter. There are five problems that are REQUIRED as part of the assignment. One of these problems will be selected and graded for your score on the homework. (If you do four out of five problems, and the missing problem is the one selected for grading, then you will receive a grade of 'zero' for that assignment.)

In addition, I list five SUGGESTED problems to help reinforce your understanding of the material. None of these SUGGESTED problems will be selected for grading, but it is in general a good idea to work on these as well.

Homework No. Three:

REQUIRED Chapter 23 - Problems 39, 48, 49, 79, 83

SUGGESTED Chapter 23 - 45, 47, 54, 80, 86

The homework (REQUIRED problems) is due in Discussion section next Thursday February 8.
