Roger I. Johnson (B.S. 1962, Advisor: J. Winckler)

Among my favorite memories: arranging speakers for our AIP Student Section monthly meetings from among UM physicists; working with excellent lab equipment to make measurements of all kinds; working on John Winckler's projects searching for cosmic rays.

My advisor was John Winckler. I enjoy lobbying and volunteering in all sorts of business and education venues, advocating for more funding at all education levels to provide improved opportunities for our young citizens. I taught physics and engineering at North Hennepin Community College from 1996 to 2000 and set up its engineering program. My favorite professor was George Freier, in Physics 7, 8, and 9. I retired from MnSCU Teaching of Physics and Engineering.
