Thierry Copie (B.S. 1980)

My advisor was Professor Ken Heller. I am a Senior Member of Tech Staff at the MIT Lincoln Laboratory.

I am married with one daughter (17 years old), and one cat. We are living the American Dream in the Boston area. I joined MIT Lincoln Lab after completing my PhD in physics at Cornell and have been there ever since. My favorite memory is doing an internship in Professor Heller's group at FermiLab in the summer of 1978. I was hooked on experimental particle physics after that. K. Heller was my favorite professor. He introduced me to the great field of experimental particle physics. My favorite course was E&M taught by Earl Peterson.
