Physics of Bowling


Undergraduates from the School of Physics and Astronomy Society of Physics Students (SPS) will take on physics questions and a bowling challenge tonight (Tuesday, November 21) at 6:30 p.m. at the Bryant Lake Bowl.

Physics students Mohamad Abdullah, Mark Madland, Jessical Buchholz, Dan Bruzzone, Jim Erickson, Dan Ojalvo and Arun Madhaven will give tips on
how science might improve your bowling game, discuss physics
basics, get the inside scoop on cutting-edge research, and participate in a bowling tournament that pits science against the skills of the Bryant Lake Bowl's top bowling team.

The "Physics of Bowling" is part of the Bell Museum's Cafe Scientifique. The door's of the Bryant lake Bowl theater open at 5:30 p.m. and there is a suggested donation of $5 for the event.
