School of Physics and Astronomy Professor Robert O. Pepin was recently named a fellow of the Geochemical Society and European Association
The title of "Fellow" is given to outstanding
scientists who have, over the years, made a major contribution to the
field of geochemistry. The number of
Fellows elected each year is limited to less than 1% of the membership
of the combined societies and is typically significantly fewer.
Pepin will be honored along with the other new Fellows at the Goldschmidt Conference in Cologne, Germany in August, 2007.
