Ten Reasons to choose Minnesota

By the Numbers

  • 30.7% of our alumni stay in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro area and enjoy Minnesota's strong economy and high quality of life.
  • We are currently ranked 22nd by the National Research Council and 26th by US News and World Report.
  • We have 61 faculty members and around 160 graduate students.
  • The undergraduate program has around 150 majors and graduates 50 students annually.
  • We teach core courses to more than 4000 students annually from 6 colleges (CSE, CBS, CEHD, CFANS, CLA, CSOM). There are some large lecture courses, but the discussion and laboratory sections are kept to 15 to 18 students.
